The number one in health education is example that would be modeled by parent. Everything won't be effective if parent never provide good examples towards the kid. For example its almost not possible for parents to prohibit the kid to not smoke, whereas parents still smoke.

Children are nice imitator of individuals at their surrounding, particularly their close individuals within the family. So teach the healthy living towards the kid is also challenging for parent who still can easily not provide a very good example towards the kid.

And always involve the kid when you make plan to do healthy activity, for instance cycling along holiday. Involving the kid in healthy activities such this can encourage them to be also enthusiastic in running the healthy life and a means of health education.
